INCLUSIVE LEADERSHIP WORKSHOPS

1 Intersectionality as a Leadership Competency (Team Leaders Version)

A leadership development workshop for managers and people leaders who want to lead diverse teams with more awareness, empathy, and intention.

Overview

Intersectionality isn’t only a DEI term—it’s a daily leadership reality. Team members bring layered identities, histories, and expectations to work. This workshop helps leaders understand how identity shapes trust, communication, feedback, and opportunity.
Using the MAP Framework (Mirror–Allies–Power), leaders examine their own lenses, expand their allyship, and identify practical ways to build belonging within their teams.

Who It’s For
  • People Managers and Supervisors

  • CLTs and Team Leads

  • High-potential leaders in development programs

Participants Will:
  • Reflect on their own leadership identity and blind spots

  • Understand intersectionality as it shows up in everyday leadership

  • Learn the MAP Framework as a tool for awareness and action

  • Explore scenarios related to feedback, conflict, recognition, and growth

  • Identify 2–3 leadership behaviors to implement immediately

Format & Delivery
  • 90-minute workshop

  • Can be used as a stand-alone experience or part of leadership programs

2 Inclusive Leadership in Action

This workshop translates “inclusive leadership” into concrete, repeatable behaviors leaders can practice in meetings, one-on-ones, decision-making, and team rituals.

Overview

Many leaders want to be inclusive but aren’t sure what that looks like day-to-day. This session breaks inclusion down into practical actions that build psychological safety and trust.
Through scenarios and reflection, leaders identify moments where exclusion often happens and practice alternative approaches that create space, voice, and fairness.

Who It’s For
  • Frontline managers

  • Mid-level and senior leaders

  • People leaders in new manager programs

Participants Will:
  • Learn core behaviors of inclusive leadership

  • Reflect on how current habits help or hinder belonging

  • Explore practices for inclusive meetings, feedback, recognition, and decision-making

  • Walk away with a personal “Inclusive Leadership in Action” checklist

Format & Delivery
  • 60 or 90 minutes

  • Ideal for leadership development programs and all-manager meetings

3 Allyship at Work: From Awareness to Action

A practical, grounded workshop for employees and leaders who want to support colleagues across identities without performative actions or burnout.

Overview

Allyship isn’t a title; it’s a set of consistent behaviors. This workshop helps participants understand what effective allyship looks like in real workplaces—and what to avoid.
Through examples, reflection, and guided conversations, participants explore how they can show up in ways that respect boundaries, center impacted voices, and contribute to a culture of shared responsibility.

Who It’s For
  • All employees

  • People leaders and ERG members

  • Early-career & emerging leaders

Participants Will:
  • Understand key principles of responsible allyship

  • Reflect on their own starting point and barriers

  • Learn practical ways to support colleagues (without centering themselves)

  • Explore how to interrupt bias and speak up in everyday situations

  • Commit to 2–3 ally behaviors they can sustain long term

Format & Delivery
  • 60 or 90 minutes

  • Works well in DEI series, leadership programs, or ERG-sponsored events
